Cutting machine operator (m/f/d)

Your area of responsibility includes the following activities

• Programming, setting up and operating CNC processing machines and centers
• Machining sector: turning, sawing and milling
• Review of the processing process and the processing sequence
• Ensuring the tool plan
• Supporting prototyping by checking drawings, preparing dimensions, materials and tools
• Programming of the production process on the screen and error correction
• Setting up CNC processing machines and centers: Request workpieces/material (e.g. via screen dialog), define clamping options, assemble or rebuild the devices and check the clamping functions
• Adjust and measure tools, use tested tools if necessary, confirm, enter correction values and transfer tool data to the CNC machine. Assigning pallets and tools, running the program as a single set
• Rectification of faults. In case of problems and questions, make necessary arrangements with the shift or department manager.
• Carrying out cleaning and maintenance of systems and maintenance of tools
• Processing of construction orders
• Optimizing and developing existing programs and processes
• Worker self-inspection

Your profile

• Completed training as a cutting machine operator, in a metalworking profession or comparable
• Experience as a Machine Operator
• Knowledge in programming/setting up machines
• Safe handling of technical drawings and standard measuring equipment
• Careful and structured way of working and the ability to work in a team
• Technical Understanding, Quality and Cost Awareness
• Continuing education certificates regarding the machine controls used
• Willingness to work in a 3-shift system must be available
