GridLight

An individuel look for every train – with our modular LED kit you have all opportunities in the design of headlights.

GridLight is a full-LED-lighting system for space, time and cost-saving implementation of front lights for rail vehicles. It consists of three pre-engineered components: white-red reversible marker or signal light module, rod-shaped high performance headlight module and a customized support system that was developed specifically for these modules. This breakdown into separate modules allows for efficient installation in the given space.

Full LED headlight

Reference project: Zefiro

This high-speed front light in aluminium housing with fully bonded ESG panes is a full LED combi-light with marker light, taillight and headlight functionality. The tried-and-tested SBF LED reflector technology was expanded in this project to include rear light functionality with optimum integration on the front of the vehicle.

Headlight

Reference projects: Do 2010

The halogen LED combilight consists of a stainless steel housing, which is back-mounted in the vehicle head. The fully heated ESG pane is bonded to the outside. The headlight function is realised with a high-performance driving lamp unit combined with heavy-duty halogen lamps from the commercial vehicle sector. Durable and economical SMD-LEDs are an integral component of the design-led marker light/rear light modules, which are hermetically sealed with optic caps specifically developed for the rail vehicle sector.

LED logo lighting

Reference project: RBS

A group of assembly frames with circuit board and LEDs behind a printed glass pane forms the operator's logo. The individual coloured LEDs form an homogeneous illuminating surface through a micro-structure cover reflector. This technology facilitates even illumination, a small distance between the LEDs and reflector, and the desired effect for lighting the lettering on the front of the vehicle.

LED stair lighting

Reference project: Velaro D

This robust exterior lighting consists of a powder-coated stainless steel panel with counterbores for fixing to the railcar and an integrated PC panel with light guidance function. An enclosed LED lighting strip with plug connection is secured on the reverse.
